Help Please!

Unsure of what direction to take, this client knew that she needed a change in her master bathroom but was in need of help!  Our first task when meeting with her, in our initial visit to her home was to ask questions, lots of them.  We listened and evaluated every aspect of the project, combining all of her frustrations with the current space along with her hopes and dreams for the new space.   Her main goal, creating a master bathroom that would appeal to a potential "buyer", but also a space she can enjoy until she's ready to sell.  The focus was on the shower, she knew she loved the stall style showers but was unsure if she was narrowing her market if she removed the Jacuzzi tub.

This particular project was driven by budget.  After establishing a comfortable budget, our team evaluated what we could and couldn't do with the space.  After narrowing down the options, we presented to her what we felt would be most satisfactory to the general public and also give her the dream bathroom she was looking for in the meantime.  Needless to say, the idea of keeping a Jacuzzi tub and replacing it with a new one was out, and replaced with the idea of a larger stall style shower.  We decided that by leaving the wall between the vanity room and shower room we could save on costs and keep on budget.  Instead, we would remove the carpet from the vanity room and replace it with new tile that would run throughout both rooms in the master bathroom, to create a cohesive feel for the two spaces.    Not only was she thrilled with this design, she's boosting her chances of resale.

See how this space looked before the remodel, below:

Check back next week, as we'll take a deeper look into the progress that our installer Paavo, has made on this project.
