Let's Dive In!

The first step of diving into this project?  You guess it, demolition!  To create a level ceiling we had to remove the existing plaster and take a deeper look into what we were dealing with.  By doing this we unveiled rough-sawn floor joists, that were so solid that our guys found they were difficult to even drill through.

We established that a flush ceiling could certainly be obtained by tucking up utilities as needed, and furring out the ceiling joists for a clean level surface.  Can lights were added to flood the space with light.  Ready for drywall!

Stayed tuned in for another blog post soon, as we get you up to speed on this project.  This week we are working on cabinetry trim work, a lot has happened in the past two weeks from this point!
