A New Month, A New Project

Our apologies for the delay on presenting our next project to you, it's hard to believe so much changes in just a couple short weeks!  We have tons of progress to show you on our next remodel that we are featuring, hopefully we stun you with the finished result. 

Let us start, by walking you through the background on this kitchen remodel.  How about we rewind a bit?  Built in 1860, this home immediately caught our attention because like all old homes it is filled with character and charm.  But also like all old homes, we all know they tend to be filled with surprises!  Eek.  Though the kitchen was in need of an update, there was certainly potential to create a beautiful new space that will fit in well with the rest of the home.  A design was finalized, products were ordered and the construction process began a couple weeks ago.

The new design called for expanding a doorway, filling in a doorway to the family room, creating one level height across the ceiling, new lighting, new flooring, new cabinetry, new countertops, new tile backsplash and new appliances.  Lastly, the new design will incorporate a beautiful new hutch piece.
