Leaping Forward

Despite being another hot attic day for our installer, who was finishing the bathroom vent fan hookup yesterday, he was proud to show off the progress made over this past week on the master bathroom.

Leaping forward toward the finished result, there was a lot to see yesterday.  The Schluter Shower System has now been installed, including a recessed soap/shampoo holder and corner bench seat.  Bead board now stretches around the bathroom perimeter.  The new pocket door is in place and functioning, as well as a new opening size above the vanity area to house a larger medicine cabinet.

A new can light in the shower is already pouring light into the shower space and will surely accent the new tile nicely.  This will no longer be a dark and dreary shower hidden behind a door!

The bathroom walls, bead board and pocket door are now ready for paint this week.  Stay tuned to see more photos along the way!
