Rounding the corner into this bathroom, what was our first view? Yes, I'm sure you guessed it, a bright blue toilet. When digging more into the details of this bathroom on our first visit to this home, we wondered why the faucet was placed on the side of the sink, versus being centered. After taking a measuring tape to the vanity, we found that the vanity was abnormally shallow, leaving them zero room for storage on the countertop and also a small vanity sink.
At first sight, the shower was completely hidden behind the master bathroom entrance door, making access to the shower only possible when the door is closed. This problem was not so bad, but only if you wanted to mask the blue tile lining the shower.
The main objectives for this space after our first impression: Stay within the same footprint, easier access to the shower, a full sized vanity sink, updated tile and updated fixtures. Though maintaining the overall footprint, our installer has got quite a bit of work to do here to achieve the finished product!
