This kitchen remodel not only included new flooring, new cabinetry, new countertops and a new tile backsplash, but it also required removal of an interior wall between the kitchen and dining room, to create a more open space. Perfect for a growing family. Despite being the newest member of our Kircher team, this installer was ready to tackle this large project and create a beautiful space for this family to live in.
Here's a view of the existing wall that was torn out. If you take a peek through the doorway you can see the outdated kitchen.
First the soffit, cabinetry, flooring and countertops were removed. Next, the wall between the two rooms was eliminated. At this point in the project, it was already hard to imagine how small the space was before.
After the necessary electric, HVAC and construction work was done, it was time to patch up the drywall and start setting cabinetry.
The new cabinets were trimmed out with intricate moldings, granite countertops were installed, the ceramic tile backsplash was added, ceramic tile flooring was completed and the electric details were wrapped up, really bringing this kitchen to life. What a wonderful, bright, open space for this family!
